Call for papers and participations |

The Xiamen International Forum on Urban and Environment (XIFUE) is held every three years in the island city of Xiamen. XIFUE is dedicated to promote information exchange among academics, industries, governments, and any interested people for the purpose of urban sustainable development around the world. XIFUE provides a platform for presenting papers, posters, and physical products in the four following areas:
1. Advances in Urban Environmental Sciences
2. Development of Urban Environmental Technologies
3. Progress of Urban Environmental Engineering
4. Sustainable Urban Planning and Management
A workshop on Carbon Storage in Cities will be held at the 2nd XIFUE.
English is the official language of the conference. Selected papers will be published in special issues of reputable journals. The 2010 IAUE Innovation Rewards will be given to recognized individuals, organizations, and industrial firms during the forum.

| The forum will be held for 3 days in December 11-13, 2010. It will consist of two Group Sessions following the Plenary Session. Group I will focus mainly on urban economy, society, decision-making, and management; Group II will focus mainly on urban energy, resources, and environmental control. |
